The big eclipse that day was not nearly the biggest thing I experienced - I didn't see it
What I saw eclipsed everything else and provoked an additional entry in this work
Winter 2024 was a time that I had 7 months with my father to chat about all things
The time was precious - we worked out a lot of things and argued over vegetables

During mid production of this work
I lost my father to Arteriosclerosis

He passed away peacefully in the night
Perhaps at a time of his own choosing

I called 911
And was instructed by dispatch
To perform CPR until medics arrived

I was instructed to count each 2-inch depression
That would be made by pressing down with both hands
By my recall I was somewhere around 140 beats when relieved

Five men stared in my eyes and offered me the encouragement
The lead medic kindly said to me, "You did everything the way you were supposed to"

When you get to be a certain age it's not uncommon to lose our parents
It hasn't been easy for me to lose both of my parents in 2 years time
Maybe we don't know how much time we have or maybe we do

Either way I'm convinced that vigorous health makes it better
You just couldn't tell me that fantastic health doesn't matter
Good Health Matters - first to enjoy it and then to prolong it

There is nothing more annoying than being told to floss more
I'm pretty sure that's why coaching isn't a bigger success in the world
Because being chimed on for nutrition and posterity is such a grating thing

Except I'm the best in the world at turning something like that into a fun game
Someone just like MoneyPenny is waiting with your well deserved sponge bath
If you find her one second before you can win her, she might not take notice
