Lap Number 34
Lap 4 out of 5
Ambition for the Future
There is no wrong answer for this -
Unless you’re feeling body pain during this activity
Acquiring body pain
Would be the wrong way
To perform your number four lap out of five
Sometimes when I'm having a good swim day
I can really step on the gas
During final set-of-five
This is the fourth leg of your worthy mission
The end is so near you can smell it
You're always listening
To your inner sense
If you're in a great place with yourself physically
It's certainly possible to push yourself
Into a full blown sprint at this time
Oxygenated blood is interesting
Actual picture of me chilling in the hot tub knowing I just popped off a mile in the pool
Still there is a comfort knowing
That being on autopilot at this point
Is more than sufficient for completing the challenge
Whether fast or slow, we are just a few laps from the hot tub
Lesson Summary
During the fourth lap out of five in a swimming challenge, it's essential to prioritize comfort and listen to your body to avoid unnecessary strain. Here are some key points to keep in mind:
- It's crucial to avoid pushing yourself too hard, especially if you're experiencing body pain during the activity.
- While some days might feel like you can really excel, maintaining a steady pace and not overexerting yourself is vital during this stage of the challenge.
- Listening to your body and sense of wellbeing is key to gauging whether you can intensify your efforts or stick to a moderate pace.
- Although pushing to a full sprint might be tempting, staying in a comfortable rhythm can be equally satisfying and effective in completing the challenge.
- Remember that the end goal is within reach, and being on autopilot during this lap is more than sufficient to reach the finish line, regardless of speed.
